THE SPRAY TAN BIBLE.
A flawless spray tan outcome is:
50% my responsibility as the artist, and 50% your responsibility as the client.

This means... FOLLOW YOUR PREPARATION & AFTERCARE GUIDELINES TO A T.
Proper preparation & using quality products go hand-in-hand to help produce & maintain a flawless spray tan.
FIRST & FOREMOST...
A sunburn is a spray tan's worst enemy.
DHA is the main ingredient in spray tan solution and is what creates the 'tan' effect.

DHA is naturally drying, so it will trigger currently sunburned or recently sunburned skin
(within the last 4 weeks) to peel.

Please allow your skin at least 4 - 6 weeks to heal before spray tanning.

HYDRATE. MOISTURIZE. ALOE. REPEAT.
PRODUCTS MATTER.
Spray tans are VERY ingredient picky.
Using any body products that contain:
parabens, sulfates, phthalates,
mineral oils, alcohols, heavy fragrance

will cause your tan to fade prematurely and unevenly.

Common products to AVOID:
DOVE. OIL OF OLAY. IRISH SPRING. DIAL. BATH & BODY WORKS. METHOD. VICTORIA'S SECRET. ETC.

Common drugstore products that are SAFE:
HEMPZ. RAW SUGAR. NATIVE. CETAPHIL. SHEA MOISTURE. ALAFFIA. BURTS BEES.

(please keep in mind if you are needing spray tan friendly care products, all first time clients receive 20% off all product during their first visit. I do carry Hempz lotion!)
